UAE NATIONAL DAY SCRIPT

Jennifer: Prayer is the best form of worship. Let us invoke the blessing
of the Almighty. I call upon Sidratul Muntaha to recite a few verses from
the Holy Quran which will be followed by the English translation by

Maryam:- Assalam alikum! Good Morning! Ahlan wasahlan!

Jennifer: We have gathered here to celebrate the milestone of this great

country which we have made our home. The Golden Jubilee.

Maryam: The students of the senior section are proud to present their tribute
to this stupendous nation.

Mysha: The year is 2021 and the audience is visiting the Museum of the
Future.

So, buckle up and join us on a journey to THE GENESIS OF A LEGACY.

Mysha: This pen is not just an ordinary pen. This is the pen that changed
the fate of millions of people in this country. This is the pen that led to
the birth of a nation. There was one man, one man with a vision! A vision
of unity, peace, and progress.

Mysha: Kalyani has used her poetess prowess to write about our great
leader. Let us hear it from her.

Maryam: the unique culture and tradition of UAE has always been the
identity of this nation. The traditional life of the emiratis back in the
1970s was completely different from that of today. UAE started small as
a land of desert and has developed into this exquisite hub of innovation
and development. Presenting to you a traditional cultural dance that is
the epitome of this.

Olisa: The progress that UAE has made in the past 5 decades has been
astounding from pearl diving for a livelihood to being the first Arab
country to enter Mars orbit through the HOPE probe. This development
was made possible in a short span of time because of the great leadership
and vision of the rulers.

Samiya: Our leaders have always aimed to expand the frontiers of

women empowerment. Sheikha Lubna Al Qasimi was the first Emirati
woman to join the UAE cabinet as Minister of Economy and planning
and we had as many as 8 female ministers in the UAE cabinet formed in
2016. The lead science investigator and deputy project manager of the
HOPE mission Ms. Sarah Amiri. The first female Arab astronaut Ms.
Noura Al Matrooshi was also announced this year.

Olisa: From the whirling dust of the desert to the shining stars of the
sky, women have scaled great heights in this noble country. This was
possible because of the undaunting efforts of the leaders.

Samiya: Now we have the students of our section rendering the EXPO
theme song to voice our dreams and aspirations.

Maryam:- This was one exhilarating ride. This was the effort of the man
with a vision. The country is blessed with visionaries and the journey
continues, EXPO 2020 is just the beginning and as well said by our
leaders we are on our path to a new model of development towards the
next 50 years. So till 2071, this is the senior section wishing the leaders
and the country the very very best. Thank you.
