National Security
It is the requirement to maintain the
survival of the state through the use
of economic, power projection and
political power and the exercise of
diplomacy.
For the Philippines and the Filipino
people, national security is defined
as he state or condition wherein the
nation's sovereignty and territorial
integrity, the people's well-being, core
values, and way of life, and the State
and its institutions, are protected and
enhanced."
What is the significance of the
NSTP to national security?

The NSTP gave importance to the


enhancement of civic consciousness
without compromising the national security
needs of the country in the event of war,
thereby retaining the ROTC as a component
program of the NSTP instead of entirely
abolishing it.
What is the main purpose
of the National Security?
As stated, the goal of the national
security strategy is to ensure the
protection of our nation's fundamental
and enduring needs: protect the lives
and safety of people.
Why is it Important?
The most important role of the federal
government is protecting our citizens from
national security threats. This means
creating a strong system for defense both
at home and abroad. Our country should
continue to act as a defender of freedom
and a staunch supporter of our allies
worldwide.
What is Executive order
No. 70?
He added that EO 70, which was signed by
President R. Duterte in December 2018,
created NTF ELCAC that institutionalized a
whole-of-nation approach in obtaining
exclusive and sustainable peace-giving us
an effective solution against
communist-terrorists.
What is Peace Education?
Peace education is the process of
acquiring the values, the knowledge
and developing the attitudes, skills,
and behaviors to live in harmony with
oneself, with others, and with the
natural environment.
What is the Importance?
Peace education helps young people
gain knowledge, enhance their skills
in the area of peace, and form an
attitude about the meaning of peace
in human life. Peace education
activities promote conflict resolution
that promotes peace and values such
as respect for human rights, freedom
and confidence.
