Rank the time of fall for the different initial velocities. Disregard small discrepancy in the values.

I. Vo=-15.0 m/s, t= 1.01 s

II. Vo= 0 m/s, t=2.03 s
III. Vo= 15.0 m/s, t=4.07 s
IV. Vo= 20.0 m/s, t=4.92 s
Note: Values for time are ranked from shortest time to longest.

b. Rank the speed at which they reach the ground. Disregard small discrepancy in the
values.
I. Vo= 0 m/s, V=-19.89 m/s
II. Vo= 15.0 m/s, V=-24.89 m/s & -15.0 m/s, V=-24.90 m/s
III. Vo= 20.0 m/s, V=-28.22 m/s
Note: Values are ranked from slowest speed to fastest.

a. Rank the accelerations. Disregard small discrepancy in the values.

In all of the given conditons, the acceleration (m/s2) versus time (s) graph yielded a
straight line with zero slope. This is the reason why accelerations cannot be ranked for
all of the given conditions since all have uniform acceleration which is accelerating due
to gravity (9.8 m/s2). Moreover, the given objects were released with the same initial
height of 20 m this resulted to the free-falling objects to experience uniform
acceleration.
