Reply :- regarding your queries on mask it is submitted that although the COVID-19 transmission is mainly
through respiratory droplets. However, asymptomatic or presymptomatic infected wearers who feel well and
may be unaware of their infectiousness to others may also be able to transmit infection to other. In addition,
many people with COVID-19 experience only mild symptoms. This is particularly true at the early stages of the
disease. It is therefore possible to catch COVID-19 from someone who has, for example, just a mild cough and
does not feel ill. This is whyMoHFW has recommended to use of mask/ face covers by all. The use of mask/ face
cover has been made mandatory by Ministry of Home Affairs in various orders issued from time to time under
Disaster Management Act, 2005. No further information on the queries sought by you is available in records of
