Introduction:

We all have been affected by the current COVID Pandemic, the

impact felt differently depending on our status as a member of

society.

According to Grant Aldrich (2020), The reason why online

learning is useful is that everyone learns in their unique way,

at their own pace. People can be inconvenienced by attending a

workshop and may get intimated by more extroverted participants.

However, with online learning, employees can go through topics

and soak in information at their speed. E learning also allows

taking the end of course assessments, which keeps participants

alert. Some employees may even take more notes in an online

setting than in – person, thus better retaining the information.

Online Schooling is essentials to help especially for

student’s learning. Help to improve skills, develop intelligent

in different ways. In order to achieve goals or dreams in life.

Online learning is one of the best way to learn and to have

knowledge. In this Pandemic we need an alternative learning

modalities in order to learn. Online learning is a process where

students can learn through internet and can express their

knowledge by their selves. Teacher are doing their best to give

to students the knowledge and to develop their student creativity

in thinking and also to improve their ability or skills even in

this time of Pandemic. The purpose of Online Learning is to

continue the student achievements and to continue their dream, to

achieve their goals in life. Online learning is very important to

decrease COVID cases which avoid close contact with each other,

Furthermore this alternative learning helps to lower costs and

depths so we ca prioritize what are the essential needs.

Education have major influences on the way how people reach

their goals. Nowadays, the Department of Education encourages

school personnel especially teachers to help students to learn

and boost student’s confident especially in this time of pandemic

which many student’s suffering in anxiety and depression.

According to Dr. Sharon Jones, CEO & Founder of The Dottie

Rose Foundation (2020), Online learning provides fantastic

flexibility, among other benefits, and aids in making the tasks

of arranging development opportunities far easier. In addition,

the ability for users to have access to content when needed

provides the just in time element that is so critical to

corporate job applicability. Adult learners want learning to be

specific to their job, quick and have merit, and using an online

platform allows users to learn at their own pace and use and use

when needed. It is win for all.

 Statement of the Problem

The researchers determine the impact of Online Learning in

Senior High School. This study is designed to find answers in the

following.

1. What are the negative results of online classes of senior high

schools?

2. How can online classes help the academic performance of

senior high schools?

3. How can senior high school students survive this type of

education?

CONCEPTUAL FRAMEWORK

The study concludes that online pedagogy and digital skills of

teachers and learners need to be strengthened for a possible

roadmap ahead. The study may provide useful insights into the

challenges of online learning and areas for further improvement.

Significant of the study

This research sought to determine the Impact of Online

Learning in Senior High School. This study is beneficial to:

STUDENTS. Will provide to gain knowledge that can be used to make

decisions to next generation.

TEACHER. Can help them to make it easier for them to know if

online learning is really good for students.

FUTURE RESEARCHERS. It may serve as their reference as their

study is related to this.

Scope and Delimitation

This research study will focus on the Impact of Online

Learning in Senior High School Students. To gather relevant

information, the researcher includes the different country in

selected countries. This study will be limited only ASEAN

countries such Us Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia,

Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.

Definition of Terms

COVID an acute respiratory illness in humans caused by a

coronavirus, capable of producing severe symptoms and in some

cases death, especially in older people and those with underlying

health conditions. It was originally identified in China in 2019

and became pandemic in 2020.

Online Learning education that takes place over the Internet.

It is often referred to as “e- learning” among other terms.

However, online learning is just one type of “distance learning”

- the umbrella term for any learning that takes place across

distance and not in a traditional classroom.

Online Schooling Online schools have virtual classes that

students can take from home or a library or a coffee shop or

anywhere else that has an Internet connection. The teachers work

remotely and have a structured curriculum for their online

students to follow.
