2. A scanner is a light-sensing input device that reads printed text and graphics and
then translates the results into a form so that the computer can process.

Name ONE (1) scanner that works in a manner similar to a copy machine except it
creates a file of the document in memory instead of a paper copy.

3. Monitors use a digital signal to produce a picture. To display the highest quality
images, the monitor should plug into? List down THREE (3) answers.

4. A bus allows the various devices both inside and attached to the system unit to

5. Differentiate two types of RAM; Dynamic RAM (DRAM) and Static RAM
(SRAM).

DRAM are made out of capacitors while SRAM are made out of flip
flops. DRAM are also much less small and inexpensive than a SRAM.

Based on your understanding, explain in details the process in figure
above.

Data will be inserted through input devices then to memory then will
be processed through arithmetic logic unit, which is the main control
unit. After that, if you want to save the data, you have to go back to
memory and then go to storage devices but if you want to display the
data, you would go to output devices.
