INSTRUCTIONS FOR TRAINING PARTICIPANTS

Welcome to the Residential Training Programme of IIM Indore.

Reaching IIM Indore Campus:

IIM Indore Campus is located approx. 20 Kms from the Airport/ Railway Station. At the
Airport, pre-paid taxis are available at the arrival lounge/outside the arrival lounge
operated by Indore Airport Taxi Association. They have fixed charges for different
destinations. At the Railway Station too, autos/taxis, OLA Cabs, Uber Taxis are available.

Note:
❖ Before coming to the campus, please send the soft copy of your RT-PCR Test report,
Vaccination certificate through e-mail to the staff coordinator. The name & contact
details of the staff coordinator will be shared with to you by MDP Office before 5 days
prior to the commencement of the programme.

❖ On your arrival at the campus, you are requested to show proof of your vaccination and
RT-PCR tests at the Gate. Please see detailed Notes below.

1. Accommodation:
On your arrival, please report at our Executive Residence, please maintain social
distancing while checking-in.

2. Meals:
Meals will be served in the dining hall at Mess 1 (First Floor)

Please follow the instructions which will be given to you by Executive Residence
-3 office regarding timings.

3. Programme Venue:

MDP Classroom Instructions:

▪ Please maintain social distancing during the classes.


▪ Wearing a mask inside the classroom and outside your classroom is mandatory.
▪ Avoid exchanging of stationary/personal belongings.
▪ Avoid touching unnecessary surfaces/devices in the classroom during the
sessions.
▪ Avoid gatherings for discussion during the programme.
▪ Please maintain proper distancing during the tea break. However, we do have
the facility of a common sanitizer in the classroom, but we advise you to
please carry personal sanitizer, water bottles with you during the sessions for
safety purposes.
▪ For safety purposes one should sanitize the hands before entering and
while leaving the classroom.
▪ Use the online mode of communication wherever possible including
discussions with other participants, faculty members and staff members.
Avoid visiting any office as far as possible.

4. Medical Assistance
Institute has a Medical Centre located near MDC Annex.

It is opening from 08:30 - 19:00 hrs as follows:

please contact our medical centre on phone and follow the instructions/advice of the
Medical Centre. The details for the same are mentioned below:

5. Mandatory Compliance: -

On-Campus

1. Wearing a mask in the campus is mandatory.


2. There are few restricted areas which are not allowed to visit in the campus
(Academic Block, Sports Complex)
3. Make sure you, and the people around you, follow good respiratory hygiene.
4. Refrain from smoking and other activities that weaken the lungs.
5. Cover your mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing Stay in Executive
Residence if you feel unwell, contact immediately to the medical Centre.
6. Always follow social distancing in Executive Residence, classrooms, dining, and
other public places on the campus, avoid crowding common places such as
entrances and lifts.
7. Exchange of food, clothes, books, paper, personal belongings etc. is strongly
discouraged.
8. Use the online mode of communication wherever possible including
discussion with colleagues, and staff members.

Note:-

❖ The participants will follow the safety SOP and Covid appropriate behavior on the
campus.
❖ Entry to the campus is allowed only to vaccinated participants.
❖ If the participant has received the first/both the dose(s) of vaccine, he/she will be
required to bring vaccination certificate and negative RT-PCR Test report taken not
later than 72 hours prior to arrival on campus.
❖ The Institute administration is taking utmost care to avoid the spread of the pandemic,
hence the participants will not be allowed to go outside the campus once they enter
the Institute premises until the training period is over.
❖ Their movement on the campus will also be restricted to certain areas only.
❖ They will require to show their ID Card, RT-PCR negative test report and vaccination
certificates to the security gate while entering the campus.
❖ In case any participant develops symptoms related to the COVID, they will be governed
by the Institute rules and regulations. We may ask the participants and any one in
his/her contact to quarantine or vacate the campus.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS IN VIEW OF PANDEMIC
FOR Executive Residence-1 and 2 GUESTS: SOP 2021
PREFACE

• This document lays down the guidelines for ensuring a safe and secure environment on
campus post-COVID 19 lockdown period.
• This SOP will be applicable for all guests of Executive Residence 1 and 2.
• This SOP will be effective from the date of notification till further notice. These
guidelines will be reviewed and updated periodically based on how things evolve.

Mandatory ▪ All staff and guests to be allowed entry only if using face
Compliances cover/masks. The face cover/masks always have to be worn (even
inside the ER-1&2 premises).
▪ The participants will follow the safety SOP and Covid appropriate
behavior on the campus.
▪ Mandatory hand hygiene (sanitizer dispenser) at the main entrance of
ER-1&2
▪ Maintaining physical distancing of a minimum of 6 feet, when
queuing up for entry, inside the ER-1&2 premises, classrooms, Dining
hall, and other public places on the campus.
▪ Respiratory etiquettes to be strictly followed. This involves strict
practice of covering one’s mouth and nose while coughing/sneezing
with a tissue/handkerchief/flexed elbow and disposing off used tissues
properly.
▪ Details of the guest (travel history, medical condition etc.) along with
ID and self-declaration form must be provided by the guest at the
reception. Guests to sanitize hands before and after filling relevant
forms including Guest register.
▪ MDP guests need to carry their Institute ID card when they go outside
their room.
▪ Avoid crowding the common places such as entrances and lifts. Number
of people in the elevators shall be restricted, duly maintaining social
distancing norms. Use of escalators with one person on alternate steps
may be encouraged.
▪ Digital wallets should be the preferred mode for all payments
on campus.
▪ Spitting in public places is strictly prohibited.
▪ Participants are not permitted to go outside campus till further
notice.
▪ Common Area/Lounge/TV area facility should not be used till further
communication from the ER Office.
▪ For room service, communication between guests and in-house staff
should be through intercom/ mobile phone and room service (if any)
should be provided while maintaining adequate social distance.
Recommendation ▪ It is recommended that the guest's download and set-up the Aarogya
Setu app on their smartphones.
▪ It is recommended that the guests bring an adequate number of
face masks, sanitizer bottles, a digital thermometer (for
personal use) and water bottles other than plastic for maintaining
hygiene
▪ Guests with chronic illnesses should bring an adequate stock of
their regular medications.
▪ Practice frequent hand washing with soap (for at least 40-60 seconds)
even when hands are not visibly dirty. Use of alcohol-based hand
sanitizers (for at least 20 seconds) can be made wherever feasible.
▪ Clean your PC, laptop, mobile and other electronic gadgets with
disinfectant regularly.
▪ Use the online mode of communication wherever possible including
discussion with colleagues, and staff members. Avoid visiting any
office as far as possible.
▪ Exchange of food, clothes, books, paper, personal belongings
etc. is strongly discouraged.
▪ While receiving and handling of items/goods follow
recommended safety measures.
Medical Assistance ▪ If any guest feels unwell, it should immediately be reported to the
Institute doctor at the Medical Centre over the phone. Subsequently, the
process advised by the doctor is to be strictly followed.

Dining hall ▪ Mandatory hand hygiene (sanitizer dispenser) at the main entrance of
Mess 1 first floor dining hall.
▪ Guests must maintain physical distance inside the Mess.
▪ Participants/Guests will have to strictly follow dining timings
for different batches as notified by ER Office through MDP Office.
▪ Buffet service should also follow social distancing norms among
guests. Only 50% of total dining strength is allowed at a time i.e. 40
guests in the main dining hall and 10 guests in the makeshift dining hall.
Classrooms ▪ Participants must follow physical distancing procedures as intimated
by the respective program offices.
