ACQUAINTANCE PARTY 2019

AMA Computer Learning Center College of Calapan conducted its

Acquaintance Party at Cocofarm Canubing I, Calapan City, last August 2, 2019. The

unpredictable weather didn’t stop the AMAers’ to participate and to enjoy the

happenings. The event gave all participants the chance to get acquainted to their

schoolmates and even to their instructors.

The program started at exactly 9 o’clock in the morning by an invocation led

by Ms. Theresa Pauline Tolentino, elected SSG Vice President. The welcome and

opening remarks was delivered by Mr. Alrick Jay Dungao, elected SSG President.

Then was followed by an intermission number from BSBA/BSA 1A. The master of

ceremony of the said event was Mr. Nikko Manuel, General Instructor. Introduction of

candidates for the Search of Mr. and Ms. Acquaintance 2019 in their production outfit

which showcases the exquisiteness and allure of all the candidates came next. It

was followed with a set of intermission number from BSBA/BSIT 2A and from the

Seniors’. Other categories during the search were casual wear and question and

answer portion. Before the awarding of the winners, a game entitled “T-shirt Relay”

was executed which was facilitated by Ms. Theresa Pauline Tolentino.

After all the tabulation scores were combined in judging the best intermission

number through the use of the criteria presented, the winner was immediately

announced and as a result BSBA/BSIT 2A earned the victory. In furtherance for the

search of Mr. and Ms. Acquaintance 2019, the results were as follow: 2 nd runner up

were Mr. Harold Benzon De Torres of BSIT 1A and Ms. Divine Dominguez of

BSBA/BSIT 2A, 1st runner up were Mr. Lexter Plopenio and Ms. Kristina Galang of

BSBA/BSA 1A, and the newly crowned Mr. and Ms. Acquaintance 2019 were Mr.

Larry Nicksan Bantugan and Ms. Diwata Corona of Seniors’.

The afternoon session made a blast of fun and exciting activities and the rest

of the remaining time was allotted to the swimming session. The said activity led

each and every student together with the admin, staff and faculty to socialize and to

build unity. This gave the students the chance to show and share their talents to

everyone and might as well the opportunity to enjoy all single activity prepared. The

program was ended at exactly 3:00 in the afternoon.
