1. What is the Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program of the government? Explain.

CARP or named formally as the Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program that the government implemented tends to
escalate the agricultural productivity the development of equity as well as the overall growth and development of the rural peasant
population. The main goals of it are to provide landowners equality in terms of income and opportunities, empower land owner
beneficiaries to have equitable land ownership, enhance agricultural production and productivity, provide employment to more
agricultural workers, and put an end to conflicts regarding land ownership. CARP covered all public and private agricultural lands
regardless of the crops planted. It also included public domain lands that were suitable for agriculture. It sought to redistribute land
not only to farmers and farm workers but also to other landless poor. There is also CARPER which on the other hand is the program
extension with reforms which extends the deadline of distributing agriculture lands to farmers agrarian reform as far right as in land
reform a girl uniform doesn't only mean securing farm lands for landless farmers but it also encompasses all programs designed to
bring about improvement in all the institutions surrounding farm life this means remedying not only the defect in the distribution and
use of land but also and especially the accompanying human relations regarding land including economic social and political
relations it is concerned not only with the farmer and the land heaters but also with community he lives in.
