    Machinable deposit for impact and moderate abrasion

    A smooth running rutile coated hardfacing electrode depositing a tough air


    hardening type chrome-manganese alloy weld metal with a hardness of around
    350 BHN (36 Rc) suitable for resisting moderate abrasion and impact. Deposit is
    machinable with suitable carbide tipped tools.

    SPECIAL FEATURES:
    • Smooth and stable arc with low spatter loss.
    • Excellent weld bead appearance.
    • Deposits a weld with fine bead appearance and easy de-slagging properties.

    TYPICAL APPLICATIONS:
    Roller, tractor idler wheels, brake shoes, crane wheels, wobblers, gears shafts,
    forging dies, plough shears, conveyor parts, track rollers, drive sprockets, tie
    tamping bars and picks.

    HARDNESS: 33 - 36 HRC

    WELDING CURRENT: DC+/-, AC 50
