It must be possible to switch the device off using a suitable Figure 16 Network types
disconnection device outside the power supply. For
example, the primary-side line protection is suitable for this
(see technical data).
An internal, approved AC/DC fuse is available as device
protection. Additional device protection is not required.

9.3 Battery start (Bat.-Start) parameters, and for the remote contact.
You can use the Bat.-Start signal terminal to start the UPS
without supply voltage on the input side and create an
autonomous supply for the load. To do this, you must
connect the Bat.-Start signal terminal to the SGnd signal
terminal.
The output voltage provided at the load matches the battery
voltage.
The maximum duration of the autonomous supply for the
load depends on the charging state of the battery.
The signaling corresponds to the signaling for battery
operation (see Signaling section).
To exit autonomous operation, you must disconnect the
Bat.-Start signal terminal and the SGnd signal terminal.
10 Method of operation was prior to time point t1. If the request to supply the load still
exists when the time intervals t2 to t3 have expired (at least

of a secondary-side short circuit or overload, the output Idyn. Boost

As such, the requested overall total power corresponds to
150% of the nominal power. This power can be accessed for
