Diagram: Operating elements – CIP 50/CIP 100

Operating elements – description:

1) Mechanical connection of CIP station

a) Connect valve V6 via a connecting hose to the water inlet DN 25
b) Connect valve V7 via suction hose to DN 32 cylindrical-conical tank (CCT) or bright beer
tank(BBT) inlet
c) Connect valve V3 via hose DN 32 to the sanitary inlet DN 32 of CCT or BBT
d) All valves are closed.

2) Electrical connection of CIP station

a) Plug the electric cable into a nearby electric plug. Plug the cable so it is not possible to
damage it and it is not in a way of moving the CIP station.

3) Filling of CIP station

a) Use the valves V6 and V5 to fill the reservoir upto the overflow level.
b) Use the valves V6 and V4 to fill the second reservoir upto the overflow level.
c) Use the upper manhole to fill both vessels with solutions - a process of dilution and
concentration must be requested from the manufacturer(supplier) of the chemicals.

4) Reservoir heating
a) Set the required temperature at DX.
b) Open the valves V4 and V1 to heat reservoir 1.
c) Turn on the pump by SM: this action turns on the circulation through flow heater.
d) Turn on heating by switching SO.
e) Keep the heating process on untill DX reaches required temperature.
f) Close all valves and turn off the pump.

5) Sanitation
a) Open valves V4 and V3.
b) Turn on the pump by switching SM.
c) Pump out the entire reservoir´s volume into the sanitized vessel.
d) Close valve 4 and simultaneously open valve V7.
e) If the pump is aerated, turn it off for 30 seconds by switching SM.
f) The length of the sanitation cycle – according to the producer of sanitation solution.
g) During the sanitation process SO is switched on to heat the solution during sanitation
process.

6) Return of solution back to CIP station

a) Keep the valve V7 open, close valve V3 and open valve V1.
b) Wait until the pump absorbs the air from hoses.
c) Close all valves and turn off the pump by switching SM.

7) Cleaning off the sanitation solution

a) Open valve V6 and V3, wait approx. 1 minute until the water cleans the piping from the
sanitizing solution.
b) Close valve V3 and open valve V7 for approx. 10 seconds. Empty the suction piping from
the sanitizing solution.

8) Disconnection of CIP station

a) Close all valves.
b) Close water inlet into CIP station.
c) Dismantle suction and delivery hoses.
d) Open valve V6 and V7 to purge overpressure.
e) Disconnect the hose from valve V6.
f) Unplug electrical cable from electrical grid.

Safety regulations:
1) CIP station has to be switched off and disconnected from electrical grid during cleaning of
outer surface.

2) Use safety gloves and goggles during connecting and disconnecting piping or hoses to CIP
station.
