ALEXIT HighGloss Monolyer 460-4F Technical Datasheet 460-4F

Characteristics
Two-component polyrethane-based topcoat
High chemical and mechanical resistance
The surface properties correspond with the requirements of the automotive industry

Range of Application
For efficient upgrading of plastic surfaces on the automotive interior sector.

Color and Gloss

Color: available in colour shades and transparent for industrial series production
Gloss: high gloss

Theoretical Coverage
Area Quantity Film thickness
320 - 360 m² 1 kg 1 µm
Recommended dry film thickness: 30 - 40 µm

Surface Pre-treatment
Is usually applied directly onto the appropriately cleaned / pre-treated substrate.
Appropriate primers, e.g. ALEXIT Laser- and Effect-Basecoat 463-60 are available for
PC substrates.
Polyolefins such as PP/EPDM must be pre-treated with CELEROL Haftvermittler
(alternatively / additionally: Oxidative pre-treatment method such as, e.g. flame
treatment, fluorination, plasma).
ALEXIT HighGloss Clearcoat 460-4F may also be applied as a clearcoat onto a
suitable basecoat, e.g. ALEXIT Laser and Effect Basecoat 463-60.
