EPC OF FLOWLINE AND PIPELINE FOR HARI FIELD AND EXISTING FIELD MODIFICATION

1 INTRODUCTION
1.1 General
The Hari Field is part of the South Jambi B PSC (Production Sharing Contract), located in South
of Jambi Province. The production field that has been developed are Teluk Rendah Field and
Geger Kalong Field. Production from the wells is delivered to the Teluk Rendah Gas Plant for
gas treatment prior export to Sakernan Gas Station via 10 inch Sales Gas Pipeline. The field
operation has been stopped since 2012.

Jindi South Jambi B Co. Ltd. plans to develop Hari Field with eight (8) new production well and
new Geger Kalong #5 well at Geger Kalong Field. The development plan will be including the re-
activation of Teluk Rendah Gas Plant.
Nevertheless, this project of Scope of Works (SOW) i.e. Engineering, Procurement,
Construction and Installation (EPCI) will be limited for Hari Field development which consists of
Hari-1 wellsite, Hari#2 wellsite and flowlines.

The production wells of Hari field are group into two (2) group; Group 1 are Hari-1, Hari-3, Hari-
6 and Hari-7 well while Group 2 are Hari-2, Hari-4, Hari-5 and Hari-8 well. New 6 inch
underground pipeline approximately 10.4 km will be installed start from Group 1 gathering
manifold at Hari #3 Wellsite area to Teluk Rendah Gas Plant. The pipeline is equipped with pig
launcher/receiver for pipeline cleaning or maintenance purpose.

New 6 inch underground main flowline approximately 12 km will be installed start from Group 1
gathering manifold at Hari #1 Wellsite area to Teluk Rendah Gas Plant. . Group-2 Gathering
Manifold which is located at Hari-2 wellsite area will be commingle with 6 inch main flowline
from Group-1. The main flowline is equipped with pig launcher/receiver for pipeline cleaning or
maintenance purpose.

Additional modification performed to installed interconnection line between Teluk Rendah

incoming line to provide flexibility of Inlet Separator operation.

From moment diagram above, the designed pedestal can withstand Pult and Mult.

- Shear Reinforcement of Pedestal

Vc (concrete strength)
Vc = (1+((Nu/14*Ag))*(f'c^0,5/6)*(b*d)
Nu = 117.9 kN
2
14*Ag = 1.75 m
f'c = 28 MPa
b = 0.25 m
d = 0.184 m
Vc = 2724607.1 Newton
= 2724.61 kN

Dimension requirement
Vu<0.5 ØVc No reinforcement required
0,5 ØVc<Vu<ØVc use minimum reinforcement
(Vu - ØVc )< 0.67bwd√fc' pedestal dimension ok, if not, dimension need to be made larger

Capacity reduction factor for shear

Øs = 0.75

Vult. = 52.75 kN
*Vc = 2043 kN
0,5**Vc = 1022 kN
0.67bwd√fc' = 162.6 kN

Thus,
Vu<0.5 ØVc No reinforcement required
if Vult. < 0.34*B*L*√fc', maximum spacing is minimum value of:
0.34*B*L*f'c^0.5 = 224.89 kN
- d/2 = 92 mm
- 24" = 600 mm
- 16 x longitudinal bars = 208 mm
- 48 x tie bar = 480 mm

if Vult. > 0.34*B*L*√fc', maximum spacing is minimum value of:

- d/4 = 46 mm
- 12" = 300 mm

Thus,
Vult. < 0.34*B*L*√fc' s = 92 mm

Use D10-100 mm as stirrup.

SETTLEMENT CALCULATION
Immediate
Df : Depth of Foundation = 0.85 m
L : Length of footing = 3.50 m
B : Width of footing = 1.75 m
hf : Thickness of footing = 0.30 m

Table is taken from Foundation analysis and Design Book fifth Edition, by J Bowles

The following borelog BH-1 is considered to calculate settlement with soil profile as follow:

El + 0
Footing 3.25 m
Soft Clay
(Layer 1) 2.40 m
El - 3.25
Medium Stiff Clay 6.75 m
(Layer 2)

El - 10
Dense Sandy Clay

Immediate Settlement
The immediate settlement of a rectangular base on the surface of an elastic half-space can be computed from an equation from the
Theory of Elasticitiy [Timoshenko and Goodier (1951)] as follow:
1 𝜇 1 2𝜇
∆H 𝑞 𝐵 𝐼 𝐼 𝐼
𝐸 1 𝜇
qmax Permanent maximum soil bearing pressure = 46.83 kN/m2
qo base contact pressure = qmax = 46.83 kPa

B' = B/2 = 0.88 m
H = H = 3.25 m
N = H/B' = 3.71
M = L/B = 2.00

I1 = 0.479
I2 = 0.068

Vc (concrete strength)
Vc = (1+((Nu/14*Ag))*(f'c^0,5/6)*(b*d)
Nu = 117.9 kN
2
14*Ag = 1.75 m
f'c = 28 MPa
b = 0.25 m
d = 0.184 m
Vc = 2724607.1 Newton
= 2724.61 kN

Dimension requirement
Vu<0.5 ØVc No reinforcement required
0,5 ØVc<Vu<ØVc use minimum reinforcement
(Vu - ØVc )< 0.67bwd√fc' pedestal dimension ok, if not, dimension need to be made larger

Capacity reduction factor for shear

Øs = 0.75

Vult. = 52.75 kN
*Vc = 2043 kN
0,5**Vc = 1022 kN
0.67bwd√fc' = 162.6 kN

Thus,
Vu<0.5 ØVc No reinforcement required
if Vult. < 0.34*B*L*√fc', maximum spacing is minimum value of:
0.34*B*L*f'c^0.5 = 224.89 kN
- d/2 = 92 mm
- 24" = 600 mm
- 16 x longitudinal bars = 208 mm
- 48 x tie bar = 480 mm

if Vult. > 0.34*B*L*√fc', maximum spacing is minimum value of:

- d/4 = 46 mm
- 12" = 300 mm

Thus,
Vult. < 0.34*B*L*√fc' s = 92 mm

Use D10-100 mm as stirrup.
