IMS457 ASSIGNMENT GUIDELINES

Instruction:
1. This is a GROUP assignment. The group shall be formed in a group of 3 persons. Please
note that the group will be remained until the last Multimedia group project.
2. The assignment is to review articles.
3. Choose one gadget related to Multimedia field that can be used in our daily life (for
example: Bluetooth speaker) Please acknowledge the type of gadget chosen from your
lecturer for approval.

**The gadget chosen must have specific multimedia capability. For example: Rather
choosing DSLR camera, review its lenses instead.

4. At least 6 articles to be reviewed. The articles must be taken from various valid sources.
e.g. journals and magazines. The review report should be at least 8 pages (content only).
5. Your review should have a proper flow of content, that you may include:
i) Introduction / overview
ii) Discussion on gadget. (explain what function, how it works, advantage and
disadvantages, etc)
iii) Write about your opinion of the strengths and weaknesses of the gadget
iv) Conclusion
v) References (APA Style)

Note: Reviewing articles is to discuss the content, and not reviewing the articles as who
the author, what the author said and how the articles were being written.

6. Use Arial font 11 or Times New Roman font 12 with 1.5 line spacing and justify every
paragraph.
7. Submission format: Softcopy (burn in CD and write your group members details with title).
8. Submission date : Week 6
