PSR-ESD
– Cross-circuit detection
– Diagnostics function
– Basic insulation
1. Short Description
The PSR-...-24UC/ESD/4X1/1X2/600 safety relay
can be used in emergency stop devices according to
EN 418 and in safety circuits according to DIN EN
60204-1/VDE 0113 Part 1. Depending on the external
circuit, up to Safety Category 4 according to EN 954-1
can be achieved.
One or two-channel control is available with manual
or automatic activation. The start button is monitored
for manual activation.
The relay has two enable current paths and one
signaling current path, which drop without delay
according to Stop Category 0 (DIN EN 60204-1/VDE
0113 Part 1). Two other contacts drop with delay in an
adjustable period between 0.05 sec. and 600 sec.
according to Stop Category 1 (DIN EN 60 204-1/
VDE 0113 Part 1).

The time is set using two rotary switches (Time1, Time2), which are located in the upper part of the housing and
can be accessed from outside, and using a DIP switch located on the side of the housing. The time must be set
redundantly.
A separate rotary switch and two DIP switches are used to set the time delay for each channel (both rotary
switches must be in the same position).

Start
When the emergency stop switch opens, undelayed
contacts 13/14 and 23/24 return immediately to their
normal position. Contacts 47/48 and 57/58 remain
closed for the set delay time and drop once the time
has elapsed. A restart is not possible until the time- S10 S11 S12 S21 S22 S33 S34 35 13 23 31 47 57
