Historically, it is celebrated with street dancing, beauty contests, tourism and trade fair, awarding ceremonies and cultural shows. Another famous celebrated fiesta in town of Aliaga, Nueva Ecija province is Taong Putik or Nagsa San Juan ritual. Wherein, celebrated by devotees having their bodies are completely coated with mud and dried leaves. Itis celebrated every 24th of June, during the Feast of Saint John the Baptist. Dated on February 20, Pastores Festival is celebrated to commemorate Nuestra Senora dela Virgen Divina Pastora, known as miraculous patron saint.
