“Evaluation of anticancer and antioxidant activity of leaves of Ricinus communis Linn.”
During project I evaluate cytotoxic effect in-vitro on Various human cell line like
Human lymphoblastic leukemia (MOLT-4) cell line, Human breast carcinoma (MCF-7)
cell line, Human lung cancer (A-456) cell line by MTT and SRB assay and In-vivo on
Ehrlich ascetic carcinoma (EAC), cell line induced mice by different parameter like RBC
count, TLC, DLC, Tumor volume, Tumor cell count, SOD and Catelase estimation.
Industrial Visits
 15 days training at Ipca Laboratories Ltd. Ratlam M.P.
 15 days training in basic cell culture techniques and techniques in anticancer drug
discovery research at Deshpande Laboratories Pvt. Ltd. Bhopal M.P.

Technical Skills

 Proficient in basic experimental techniques like blood withdrawal technique, dosing by

various routes in rodent, histopathology technique, basic cell culture techniques and
cell toxicity assay like MTT, SRB.
 Routine surgeries like jugular vein cannulation, intestinal perfusion, ovariectomy, etc.
 Well familiar with instrument like UV- Visible Spectrophotometer, Plethysmometer,
Laminar air flow, CO2 incubator.
 Well versed with computer software like, MS-Office, InStat and scientific data retrieval
