    Despite my inital thoughts of having an extruded button, having the sleek aesthetic of the product in mind, I opted to
    have a concave surface to serve as a button/touchpad. I intially had a button size in mind of 20mm but throughout this
    process I realized that I don’t need a button bigger than 15mm in diamater....

    • Make metronome usage/practice (solo or a band setting) a smoother experience
    • Know when they should lay back or take the lead in a jam/gig setting
    • Eliminate uncertainty and give them peace of mind in a jam setting

    • Be able to feel/see the beat, instead of just hearing it (eliminate sonic clutter)
    • Alert musician when their turn is coming up for soloing
    • Connect multiple units of said device together for a unified, cohesive metronome that the whole
    band feels simultaneously

    Design a device, that allows a band of musicians to collectively feel and/or see the metronome beat
    and to overall enhance communication among bandmates, leaving no room for uncertainty in a jam/
