In preparation for the next lesson, surf the Internet and research on how a counted thread embroidery
chart is done and how to read it. Using an Evenweave fabric or Aida cloth (5 in. x 5 in.), make your own
counted thread embroidery chart which contains the following stitches:
a. Vertical stitches worked over four (4) threads.
b. Running stitches worked over four (4) threads under two threads.
c. Herringbone stitch worked over four (4) threads diagonally.
d. A group of 5 stitches in a single hole.

Present your constructed chart to class.
