Some users of digital wallet payments like GCash, PayMaya, CoinsPh, and other digital
wallet apps find it hard to cash in and cash out their money particularly the students. They
need to go to convenience stores, remittance center, and even banks. Users also need to
have a MasterCard to withdraw their money in the ATM.
In today’s digital era, it is important to have reliable, fast and secure mode of transaction.

*What the survey says

In the survey conducted via Google forms, we found out that 46 out of 52 people have E-wallet
application installed in their smartphone.
GCash is the preferred E-wallet application use with 45 respondents voted. Only one-third of
them installed Paypal with 14, Followed by ShopeePay with 11, Lazada Wallet and Paymaya tied
with 6 respondents. The others got low result.

Majority of the respondents says they are moderately inclined to use e-wallet app for daily
transactions.

Half of the 49 respondents say they have experience difficulties in cash-out their money. Like
they don’t have the E-wallet issued MasterCard, Long lines at the banks and remittance center
and lastly some of them didn’t know how to cash-out their money. One respondent answered
lack of service availability. One respond none. The other half did not experience difficulties.

Majority of the respondents or 66.7% believed that cashless payment method is better than
traditional cash payment during this time of pandemic.

*The Solution

To develop a one-stop shop for cash in and cash out money instantly. If users will cash-out their
money, they need to transfer their money from their e-wallet app to InstaKwarta wallet app, the
system then will generate QR code. Save it and go to the nearest InstaKwarta kiosk and let the
machine scan your QR code. Now you can now withdraw your money! To expand the app, it
would also accommodate paying bills and regular load transactions.

This will help the people who still need to use real cash for traditional payment method. This
app also aid the Filipinos to support the transition process from traditional to digital payment
system as provided by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas.
