GO, GROW AND GLOW as youth of God

Opening: We believe that everybody knows the difference of GO, GROW and GLOW. So, we’re
gonna discuss to you guys, the ways on how to “Go, Grow and Glow” as the youth of God.

If we say GO - in terms of the food pyramid. Go Food is the energy giving food, such as rice,
cereals and any food which are classified as carbohydrates. (Ti kayat na nga sao-en, dagitoy a makan
ket isu ti mangmangted ti pigsa kadatayo). It is the food that makes us GO all day.

In line with our lesson today, What are the thing that we must possess to have strength and be
prepared in serving the LORD?

1. MOTIVATION. The true motivation of serving the Lord is LOVE. We serve God because we love
Him. As per Jeremiah 22:37, “Love the Lord your God with all your hear, with all your soul, and will
all your mind”. (EXPLAIN FURTHER).

2. WILLINGNESS. WHAT IS WILLINGNESS TO GOD? - It is the readiness to serve or being

prepared to serve. A readiness to pray or being prepared to pray. A readiness to study God’s word or
being being prepared to study God’s word.. Our willingness is boolean. It is answerable by Yes or No.
So if we are willing to serve God, As per Isaiah 1:19, If you are willing and obedient, you shall
eat the good of the land.
Additionally, As per 2 Corinthians 8:12, For if the readiness is there, it is acceptable
according to what a person has, not according to what he does not have. (EXPLAIN FURTHER)
Remember kakabsat that, Willingness is by heart. It is not a favor that sometimes, force you to
do it.

Next is GROW. Grow food is the body building food. These are the food that we need to eat to Grow.
In connection with our topic, What are the things that we must do to build up or continuously grow our
relationship with God?

1. SHOWCASE YOUR TALENT. God gave you talents to benefit others, not yourself. (1 Pedro 4:10
– Aramaten koma ti tunggal maysa ti bukodna a sagut nga inawatna iti Dios a maipaay iti pagimbagan
ti padana a tao, kas naimbag nga agaywan kadagiti nadumaduma a parabur ng inted ti Dios). It is
clearly stated that, do not use your talen for your own well. Most importantly, do not ever neglect your
talent. Kasi, not all people are blessed to sing in tune, diba. So, use it well. (EXPLAIN FURTHER).

2. We should not mention this second one since it is clearly spoken or informed last week that this must
be excluded. But we’re gonna say it anyway. To build up your relationship with God, You must have
faith in Him.

3. BE MATURE. As per 1 Corinthians 13:11, When I was a child, I spoke like a child, I thought like
a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I gave up childish ways. (Maysa lang ti
kunkunana kakabsat, ACT YOUR AGE.) You must behave in a way that is suitable to your age. If you
are 18, act as you are 18 not 8 nor 10. Most important thing to do is, act with dignity and with respect
(EXPLAIN FURTHER).

Lastly is GLOW. Glow food protects us from diseases by helping out our bodies to work well and fight
off illnesses. So in connection with our lesson. What must we do to protect our relationship with God?
1. GET RID OF DISTRACTION. There are many distractions right? It may be comes with our peers,
families etc. Like as what written in 1 Peter 5:8, Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the
devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.

God. (EXPLAIN FURTHER)

2. ALWAYS HAVE TIME. Time is gold as we always pertain. But it doesn’t only pivot in our own
wellness. God must be included with it. What was the bible says about time? As per Ecclesiastes 3:17,
God will judge the righteous and the wicked, for there is a time for every matter and for every work. It
is highlighted in the verse that there’s a time for every matter or for every work. It is just up to you, if
it’s what you’re gonna prioritize. Nu ni Apo Dios kadi wenno sarilim nga lakad. (EXPLAIN
FURTHER).

3. LOVE. If there’s root for all evil, Love is the root of all goodness. God had forgiven us as He loves
us. Love is everything because there is no PEACE and everything that’s up for good without LOVE.

CONCLUSION:

Especially to us, youth, we have many lapses. We did things which aren’t pleasing to God and
with others. However, we should always remember that, in order to be with God we must GO, GROW
and GLOW.
