Megan is responsible for developing a diversity initiative at Horwood
Marcus & Berk to promote diversity in the workplace, enrich the culture
of the firm, and implement the firm’s commitment to fostering a rich
and welcoming community. Megan founded the firm’s most successful
women’s networking event. When Megan is not devoting her time to
legal communities she is actively involved in her charitable work. She
volunteers with the USO and Breakthrough Ministries in Garfield Park,
serving food to the homeless and adopting families for the holidays.
She participates in mentor programs with young professionals through
the Executive’s Club of Chicago, Women in Management, and the
Chicago-Kent College of Law Mentor Program. Megan is also a mem-
ber of the Scenemaker’s Council for the Goodman Theater where she
promotes programming on diversity issues. Megan also spearheads
fundraising efforts for Worldwide Impact Now, an organization focused
on human rights issues around the world. She has been nominated as a
Rising Star (lawyers under 40 years old) by SuperLawyer Magazine.
