Project proposal: Study the recycling of milk

pouches and suggest a viable substitute

Research Methodology
Study the systems that are already working/have been implemented and failed.
If it is working, can the model be replicated?
If it failed, what changes can we make so that it works?

Implement, streamline, expand.

Project timeline:
3 months = Study
6months = Full project with implementation.

1. Understanding and studying the scope of the problem:

What is the problem?

Literature overview, what literature is available? What are the highlights?

Study and contact the drivers of change and the impact they’ve had?
If possible, can we replicate their model?

Make google form

(Bauver survey?)

What studies have already been done on milk pouches and their recycling?
Studies done on substitutes?

Agenda for Saturday/Sunday:

1. Finalise research proposal

2. How do we go from here?
3. Do the collection in Malad? Support from Eco Cell + Leander + Shanize here
+ already doing milk cartons recycling - in case of lockdown, etc. still
accessible.
4. Meet once a week to discuss progress. What can each person take
responsibility for?
5. Google form to be made by next week; who will make it?
