INTRODUCTION
 Contraceptives are designed to control population growth. This is use to prevevent
unwanted pregnancy. It has so many benefits, to us and to our country. This can be pills,
injectable for women or condoms for men. It has a huge impact to our country especially to the
specific area. It is also has a good effect on our country’s population but it also had a bad effects
to a person’s health like in reproductive health.

Contraceptives can be use by men or women that wants to have sexual intercourse but did
not want to have a baby, do not want to have a family at early age and not yet ready for the
responsibilities as a parent. This can be use as a protection during sexual intercourse. Some of
the users of contraceptives did not know what are the effects of it to them especially to the
teenagers.

According to Planned Parenthood, the side effects of contraceptives like pills are spotting
or bleeding between periods, sore breasts, nausea or headaches. The advantages of it are
reducing population and decrease the cases of abortion by preventing unwanted pregnancies.
 SCOPE AND DELIMITATION

This study aims to determine the positive and negative effects of using contraceptives in
reproductive health of young mothers in certain area of South-ville 8B Barangay San Isidro
during the school year 2019-2020. This research was conducted only in 30 young mothers in
that area. This research was conducted to guide those mothers on what are the advantages and
disadvantages of using contraceptives. This study would be beneficial to the teenagers and also
the students to be aware of the effects of it to their health and also to their community. This
research would be also beneficial to the teachers and parents of the teenagers, because they
are more responsible for giving advice to the young mothers and students. This research would
be beneficial to the future researcher too, they can get some information that might needed in
their research and some questions may possibly answered by these research
 STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM

This study aims to determine the positive and negative effects of using contraceptives to the
health of young mothers in South ville 8B Barangay San Isidro . This would be conducted in year
2019-2020. It seeks to answer the following question.

1. Did you know that using contraceptives has bad effects to you?

2. At what age did you get pregnant?

3. After knowing the effects of contraceptives, do you still want to use it?
 SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDY

We would like to publish our research on the grounds that many young people are
depressed because they are stubborn and do not listen to their parents, another reason is to
address their needs because of their early marriage. , and what we want to convey to everyone
is that not all early adopters are discouraged because some pregnant teenagers are continuing
their education after they give birth, and they are also working and caring for their children.
their children and admire them because no matter what other people say they don't care about
it and they are not ashamed of their child, and there are many good people who help her like
her friends her daddy and her dad and all her relatives, but some of her relatives are not happy
with the marriage but she does not listen to it.

We want to approve this study so that many young people will be able to think about
the big issues of early pregnancy and we want young people to be aware of our society's
continued growth and population growth we cause poverty many of us have many children and
therefore often fail to meet and provide for the basic needs of the family especially when it
comes to children who sometimes cause them to continue their education because of let's just
say that other children can't understand it because they are only children but in our generation
now and children today are aware of what is happening in the environment we hope our
education will be approved so that early adolescents have the knowledge to control and know
how long they can to have a lifetime of responsibility as a young parent.
 It is important to publish our findings because to learn the importance of teenage
pregnancy in today's children. This should be of concern as this is a major issue facing our
society especially children who are exposed to teenage pregnancy. Through this research our
group hopes to help or reduce the incidence of early pregnancy.
