The infamous “Fargo”(the movie) wood chipper is making an appearance at the FM CVB
(2001 44th St S, Fargo) this Thu & Fri from 8am-5pm and Sat & Sun from 10am-4pm.
Also see other movie memorabilia. I’ve heard the chipper has been quite the diva and
has a rider that insists on a case of imported WD-40 and a manicurist to french-tip it’s
blades.
All You Can Eat Alaskan Walleye & Smelt Fry – Thu 5/12, 5:30-8pm, El Zagal Shrine
Center (1429 3rd St N, Fargo) - $10. That just sounds good. And there is a meat raffle,
which I think always sounds funny.

GOOD CAUSE
Start a chain reaction and join the American Diabetes Association as we cycle for a cure
this summer! The North Dakota Tour de Cure is a ride, not a race, with routes designed
for everyone from the avid cyclist to the recreational rider. There are four rides to
choose from: 16 mile family fun ride, 32 mile, 75 mile and 100 mile. All rides will start
with a send-off at Oak Grove Park. From there, you will enjoy a ride on one of four NEW
routes through the Red River Valley. All distances feature good to very good riding
conditions with well-marked routes, fully stocked rest stops and SAG (safety and gear)
vehicles. When you return, you will be treated to a post-ride party with live
entertainment, inflatable games, free massages, a tasty lunch from Olive Garden and
more! REGISTER NOW: Fundraising Minimum: $150 (All cyclists must turn in a min. of
$150 in addition to the registration fee to participate. Registration fee does not count
toward fundraising min.). Registration Fee: $25 Register or request more info at

JOBS
Ronald McDonald House (Fargo) Resident Manager - Resident Managers play an
integral role in guest services and facility upkeep. This is also great as a shared position
(roommate).
o Age: Resident Managers must be 21 or older.
o On-Duty Hours: 2 Evening / overnight shifts per week ~ from 5pm-9am. 5-9pm
are active duty hours. 9pm-7am are emergency only- ‘on-call’ coverage hours.
Every other weekend, from 5pm on Fri to 5pm on Sun. [Again, overnight hours
are ‘emergency only’, families typically do not require assistance during this
time.] Any additional hours, i.e. holiday, are paid on an hourly basis.
o Duties include: Direct Guest Services and general housekeeping, lawn and snow.
o Compensation: Resident Managers receive a private apartment, with all utilities
paid, including: basic phone, cable, internet and use of laundry facility and a
small stipend.
o Locations: 1234 Broadway and 1330 18th Avenue South, Fargo, ND.
o Commitment: We request a one year commitment. [I.E. May 2011-May 2012]
