Useful trees

Rubber trees are grown in Malaysia. The latex, a white liquid, is tapped from its

trunk for making rubber. Many things are made of rubber. Tyres of cars, trunks,

bicycles and scooters are among the things made of rubber. In Malaysia, Thailand

and Indonesia, trees are chopped down and the tree trunks are cut into logs and

then into smaller pieces of wood. People use the wood for making furniture and

building houses. Other useful trees are cocoa trees, coffee trees and lemon trees.

Cocoa comes from the seeds of cocoa tree. Lemons are yellow. Lemon juice is

sour and sugar is often added to make lemon juice.
