ĐỀ 2: Why do you think English is important? Write a paragraph answering the
question.
I think English is very important. Firstly, today English is the language of
international communication because English is the dominant business language and it
has become almost a necessity for people to speak English if they are to enter a global
workforce. Secondly, if you can speak English, you won't need to rely on translations
and subtitles anymore to enjoy your favourite books, songs, films and TV shows! So I
think that English is very important.

The kind of movies I like to watch are detective movies and cartoons. It gives me a lot
of interesting experiences so that’s why I love watching Conan and Tom & Jerry. I
usually watch movies after 9 PM when I finish doing homework. Watching movies
helps me release my stress, creating excitement every time I watch Conan solve the
case and taking me back to my childhood everytime i watch cartoons. Watching
movies with subtitles will also help me improve my English.

The Internet is very much useful in life. People can use the Internet to learn many
things. It helps me search for information quickly, so it helps expand my knowledge.
Beside that, the Internet has a lot of film, music and other entertainment programs that
help me to relax. Lastly, I can use the Internet to contact my friends far away by zalo,
messenger…It’s very convenient.

Economics is the kind of book I like to read. It brings me useful economic knowledge
that I can apply to my future work. I think having some grasp of economics does let
me appreciate certain very interesting things about the way the world works and, in
some circumstances, make better decisions. So, I really like to read an economics
book.
