OBJECTIVES:

At the end of this lesson, you are expected to write phrases or sentences about an illustration
and to express its contents verbally.

In order for you to learn more about the (The students listen to the teacher).
sentence and types of sentences. I prepared
an activity; I want you to be cooperative with
your group.

The class will be divided into (4) four groups. (The student will go their corresponding group.)
Your groupings are dependent on your row;
row 1 will be the Group 1, the row 2 will be the
Group 2, the row 3 will be the Group 3 and the
row 4 will be the Group 4.

Each group will receive an activity sheet.


You will be doing different task from each (The students arrange their chairs).

the presentation, after you answer the activity,
each group will present.

Discussion:
Phrases and sentences are formed by
adding related words. Pictures and characters
are some of those helpful tools in developing
phrases and sentences.
Phrase isa group of words stating
descriptions about a person, place thing, event
and the like. It has no complete thought or
meaning.
A sentence is a group of words
expressing a complete meaning or thought, it
is composed of a subject and predicate.
Writing a phrase or a sentence becomes
easier with the help of picture or illustrations.
The illustrations or picture of a character, place
or thing may guide you in describing them.

I have here some pictures of family. Then I


want each of you to talk and say a sentence
about your family.
