WHAT IS CRANE?

Crane is an invaluable tool construction, manukfaktur,

and automotive related to the mobilization of
materials or heavy equipment at a certain height. Crane is absolutely necessary in the large-scale
development projects, ranging from the work of the foundation, the structure of the body frame, the
cover body building, the roof structure, until the finishing phase and maintenance phase.

SECTIONS OF THE TOWER CRANE

1. Jib or Boom is part of a tower crane long
and can rotate horizontally by 360 ° or often
called the tower crane arm that serves to
lift materials or tools on the project with
the help of steel cables (sling).
2. And Counter Weight Counter Jib jib
addition, there are also counter jib which
serves as a counterbalance to the jib jib
attached. Caunter weight in the form of
concrete ballast located on the rear of the
tower crane that serves to provide the
balance of the tower crane.
3. Hoist, Trolley and Hoist Sling is part of the
tower crane that functions as a means of
conveyance vertical direction. While the
trolley is a section that serves as a tower
crane tower crane conveyance horizontal
direction. Then sling is part of tower crane
in the form of steel cables and be part hoist.
Use of slings can change - change in diameter or may be added (double - sling), depending on the
needs on the ground.
4. Cabin (joint pin) is part of the tower crane which is where carriers operate tower cranes.
5. Mast section. Mast section is part of a tower crane that determines the height of the tower crane,
where the installation of each - each mast section is assisted by a hydraulic tool for preparing the
mast section vertical direction.
6. Base section and Fine Angel. Base section and fine angel is part grown on the foundation, which
serves to strengthen the foundation.
7. Slewing Mechanism. Slewing mechanism is part of whose job is to rotate the tower crane.
8. Tower Top. Tower top is the top of a tower crane.
9. Seat Belts Seatbelts (collar anchorages frame or frame). After the tower height free standing crane
beyond the limits permitted by the manufacturer, tower crane should be installed seatbelts (tie
beam) attached to a building (columns). In the installation, must be considered to be stable
construction bracing force receiving tensile load and press. The seat belt installed at every 20 meters
between one section to another section.

WHAT ARE THE FUNCTION OF IT?

Function crane is to lift heavy material, moving it horizontally and then lowered it to a predetermined
place. This is where the mobilization of project materials that DAPT walk with the aid of a crane.
Without high crane building work either low rise (slightly rise buildings) and high rise building
(building multistory) Becomes difficult,

WHAT IS IT MADE OF?

Tower crane is made of steel material.

HOW CAN WE USE THE TOOL?

WHO INVENTED IT?
Its creator is not a person, but a group of people who belong to a company.
Maschinenfabrik Julius Wolff & Co., a multinational company, started in 1908,
when it was cobbled street in Europe narrow enough to do the construction of
the building is high, so use ordinary crane can not be done. They innovate to
create the tower crane. They continued to dominate the assembly and
operation of the tower crane until the 1960s.

HOW OFTEN DO WE USE IT?

Depending on the number of development projects development.

WHERE DO WE USE IT?

Somewhere were no development projects.

IS IT EASY TO USE?
It seems easy for those who are skilled and trained.

WHEN DO WE USE IT?

At the moment there is a development project crane was used.

WHAT ARE THE WEAKNESSES?

- Disassemble the boom into sections
- Limited capacity
1). For engine wheeled crawler is 75% of the capacity of the tool
2). For the wheeled machine rubber tire is 85% of the capacity of the tool
3). For a machine who has a leg is 85% of the capacity of the tool
- Manner of operation relatively high hazard and risk

WHO USE IT?

Crane driver called a crane operator, duties and responsibilities of a crane operator is heavy therefore
a crane operator must be a man who is already qualified, passed the certification as a crane operator
and well experienced in operating the crane to be operated. That is the person who will operate a
crane, then the proficiency level or the crane operator should be people who are familiar to the crane
to be operated.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

1.mobile / truck crane P & H T500A capacity of 50 tonnes invoice 2010.Harga year to Rp 2.6 billion
2. Crawler Crane Kobelco 7055 capacity 55 .The price of Rp 2,400,000,000
3. crawler CKS800 Kobelco crane capacity of 80 tons Price USD 7.75 billion
HOW DO WE MAINTAIN IT?
Preventive Maintenance
The treatment is done with the aim to prevent / remove the possibility of disturbance / damage to
the machine. Preventive Maintenance is done without the need to wait for signs of damage or
broken.
