1 Product Overview
The Long Switched Beam Antenna (LSBA) is a highly adaptable multi-beam antenna which tightly integrates with
AirHarmony. It utilises high performance cross polarisation to optimise MIMO performance.

A software controlled antenna patterns can be formed using the SBA from supporting directional in four directions and omni-
directional.

The LSBA is used in conjunction with SON Algorithms for high-density LTE small-cell access, and Intelligent Small Cell
Backhaul..

Benefits from the use of SBA technology in these applications include:

 Auto-antenna alignment during installation

 Interference mitigation under SON control
 Network expansion with site revisits
 Network fault circumvention

The LSBA is a high gain antenna ranging from 10dBi in omni-directional mode and up to 15dBi in directional mode
