Jomsom Muktinath Tour

Jomsom muktinath tour is one of the fabulous religious trip in Nepal that takes you
closer to the nature as well as God. You not only get a holistic retreat during your visit to
land of religious beliefs but also a peace of mind, soul and spiritual happiness.
Muktinath lies in Mustang which is also known as Himalayan Shangrila and is situated
at 3,710m above sea level at the foot of the Himalayas – Thorong La mountain pass.
Popular among pilgrims, Muktinath is a small pagoda-style temple of Lord God Vishnu
which is revered by both Hindus and Buddhists. According to myth, lord Vishnu got
salvation from the curse of Brinda who was a wife of Jalander here. Mukti Kshetra,
which signifies "place of liberation or moksha," is the name given to this location.
Buddhists idolize the goddess as one of the Bodhisattvas, while Hindus idolize Mukti
Kshetra. There are 108 holy water spouts filled with ice-cold water and where devotees
can take a short bath. People believe that bathing in water of this sacred place gives
redemption after death. The temple of Jwala Mai, or the Goddess of Flame, is nearby,
and it houses the incredible underground blue flame.

DAYS ACTIVITIES
DAY 01 Meet at Sorakhutte and drive to Beni. Overnight at hotel, Beni.
DAY 02 Drive to Muktinath via Tatopani. Relax in the hot springs of Tatopani. Overnight
at hotel, Muktinath.
DAY 03 Visit to Muktinath Temple for ritual activities along with holy bath. Drive to
Jomsom. Overnight at hotel, Jomsom.
DAY 04 Drive to Pokhara. Boating and sightseeing at Phewa Lake and Tal Barahi
Temple. Overnight at hotel, Lakeside Pokhara.
DAY 05 Drive back to Kathmandu.

Janakapur Dham

Janakpur Dham, The birthplace of Goddess Sita, is a historical and religious city in
Nepal, situated roughly 400 kilometers south-east of Kathmandu. Janakpur is the cradle
of Nepal's distinctive Mithila community and the administrative center of the Janakpur
Zone, Dhanusa District. Ram Mandir, Janakpur's oldest temple, was founded by
Gurkhali soldier Amar Singh Thapa. Other temples in and around the city incorporate
Sankamochan, Ratansagar Mandir, Agnikund, Dulha-Dulhin Mandir, Biharkund Mandir,
Dhanusadham, and Jaleswor Mahadev. Mithila Art, one of the oldest traditional arts, is
the ancestral art of the Maithili people and is believed that Mithila Art began about three
thousand years prior when great Aryans arrived in this area and began painting pictures
on the walls for decoration. The art emphasizes the Maithili people's cultural legacy.

DAYS ACTIVITIES
DAY 01 Meet at Sorakhutte and drive to Janakpur. Evening visit Ram Janaki temple,
Ram Mandir and Bihawa Mandap. Overnight at hotel, Janakpur.DAY 02 Sightseeing
Bhutnath Temple, Ganga Sagar (Pond), Dhanush Sagar (Pond), Sankat Mochan
Temple and Nari Kala Kendra (Mithila Art and Culture Centre). Drive back to
Kathmandu.
