hotel goes into
administration

The prestigious Lough


Erne Hotel and Golf Resort
in Co Fermanagh has gone
into administration, it was
disclosed yesterday.
Business advisors KPMG in
Belfast have been appointed
as administrators of Castle
Hume Leisure Limited,
which owns the luxury five-
star resort near Enniskillen.
The resort, which opened
in October 2007, is set on a
600-acre peninsula nestled
between Lower Lough Erne
and Castle Hume Lough.
The business boasts a
championship golf course
designed by Nick Faldo, while
Rory McIlroy is its touring
professional.
