No.Z-11025/392/2013-Emig Government of India Ministry of Overseas Indian Affairs (Emigration Section) 1021, Akbar Bhawan, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi-110021, Dated the 13 August 2014 To All Protectors of Emigrants Subject: Additional Point to be added in the affidavit submitted by RA to the POE along with application for Emigration Clearance for Gulf countries, Sir, In gontinuation of the instruction No.C-13019/1/2003-Emig dated 01.12.2004, I am directed to inform that to ensure the accountably of the RA and the FE towards the genuineness and correctness of the employment documents Submitted by the RA to the POE Offices along with application for Emigration Clearance, in all cases of submissions made by R.As for emigration clearance, in the affidavit filed by RAs, the following additional point should be added i affidavit submitted along with application for Emigration Clearance: “That the actual employment contract/ agreement submitted with the application of emigration clearance is genuine and duly signed by the concerned foreign employer and the intending emigrant and that the same will be filed/submitted, as per local laws, to the concerned labour authorities in (name of the country) for enforcement purposes,” ‘These instructions will be effective from 25t August, 2014.
