I agree with your post and, more specifically, that you have highlighted that nurses

practice a wide range of skills and take a holistic approach to care for the patient. This aspect

indeed makes nursing different from any other profession or discipline. Among the vital aspects

portrayed by the nursed is their role. As per your comment, nurses play an essential role in

promoting health, avoiding sickness, and caring for all persons, including the disabled and

physically or psychologically ill. This corresponds to Karaca and Durma (2019) stated that

nurses prioritize well and make life-changing choices while reaming calm under pressure.

Another critical role exhibited by the nurses, of which I second, is that nurses are tasked with

consoling and reassuring the nervous patients because of their bad health conditions. They can

handle the patient's situation since they understand that paying attention to the patient is an

essential aspect of their profession.

Additionally, I like the part you have highlighted that according to Paans et al. (2017)

that the adaptability and innovation portrayed by the nurses have enabled them to evolve in what

is termed today as serving as the cornerstone for good health care in various institutions, as this

is associated with feedbacks such as better outcomes, patient-level of satisfaction. I also agree

that the pinnacle that has to enable the nurses to excel in exploring all forms of treatment is that

they have recognized shared knowledge and experience as crucial in this action. However, I

would like to add to your post that despite nurses' ability to put patients first, this might also

develop some challenges. Therefore, they should also consider visiting physicians for that case.

Finally, I second your analysis that Jaen Watson's theory of human caring is the best

concept that best explains the purse of nursing. The concept outlines that caring consists of

curative factors that meet human needs. This is because caring contributes significantly to patient

care. Therefore, it is essential to be loving and caring to be respected and to be able to take care

of others.
