ABSTRACT
India is a country having a great geographical advantage. It consists of high mountains,
glaciers, forests, sea-shores, desert, valleys, grasslands etc. which many countries do not have
everything together. This specialty has made our country world famous in tourism. Recently,
there has been a boost in tourism after several programs led by our government like
“INCREDIBLE INDIA”, “SWADESH DARSHAN”, etc. which have motivated people from
all over the world to tour in our country.
There are various companies that offer trekking, camping, scuba diving but there no a
common platform or website that gives them the freedom to search for all adventure sports at
once for a place. Our start-up idea is basically to attract the people to our created platform
which will help them to choose various Adventure sports (like sky diving, trekking, biking,
etc) from various organizers across India.
Right now we are planning to provide adventure sports inside India. Once we get successful,
we will plan to extend our idea to entire globe and collaborate with companies which provide
tours to exciting places. There is no threat at present to our business globally.

PROBLEM DEFINITION
India is one the few countries in the world which comprises majorly of youth population.
Most of the countries in the world are going towards ageing population, so the world is
looking upon us as India has population of youth which is the working class for the nation
building. This the reason why India has become the biggest growing economy in the world.
Since India’s economy is growing, the spending power of people is increasing and youth
likes to travel, exploring new areas and going for adventure sports. So, there’s a great scope
for our company to grow.
The adventure market in India is very diverse and travelers find it difficult while planning
their tours. So, if we combine all the adventures companies on one platform and make a
dedicated website/app for it, it would organize this sector and help travelers make their tour
easy and budget friendly.

We provide them the best service for booking all the adventure sports and provide details like
total fare, best time to do it, suitable for how many people and of which age group, suitable
place for it, companies or organizer who has license, precautions to taken while doing such
sports.
Our main focus is on the people of age group from (17-40) who love to travel and explore
new things in their life. India is a country of youth (age group 15-25) till the year 2020 we
will have approx. 44 crores young people. In the last few years the interest of the people in
adventurous sports has increased tremendously. Now-a-days young people love to do
adventurous sport with their friends and family so it is easy for them to search online and get
the best available sports.
LITERATURE REVIEW
SOURCES OF FUNDS FOR OUR START-UP:
By udaan scheme the government is providing credit without any third party guarantee for the
first generation entrepreneurs to make their dream come true. Government of India launched
Credit Guarantee Scheme (CGS) to strengthen credit delivery system and facilitate flow of
credit to the micro and small scale industry sector. To operationalize the scheme,
Government of India and SIDBI set up the Credit Guarantee Fund Trust for Micro and Small
Enterprises (CGTMSE).
A loan of maximum 2 crore INR can be granted for new as well as existing Micro and Small
Enterprises. The guarantee cover available under the scheme is to the extent of 50%/ 75% /
80% & 85% of the sanctioned amount of the credit facility. The extent of guarantee cover is
85% for micro enterprises for credit up to 5 lakh. The extent of guarantee cover is 50% of the
sanctioned amount of the credit facility for credit from 10 lakh to 100 lakh per MSE borrower
for retail trade activity.
Pradhan Mantri MUDRA Yojana (PMMY) is a scheme for providing loans up-to 10 lakh to
the non-corporate, non-farm small/micro enterprises. These loans are classified as MUDRA
loans under PMMY. These loans are given by Commercial Banks, RRBs, Small Finance
Banks, Cooperative Banks, MFIs and NBFCs.
The interventions have been named 'Sahithi', 'sunandan' and ‘vamsi' to signify the
development and funding needs of the entrepreneur and also provide a reference point for the
next phase of growth to look forward to:

ANGEL INVESTORS
Angel investors are people with surplus cash and a keen interest to invest in new startups.
Although the amount invested by angel investors is less but the companies like Google,
Amazon and Alibaba are result of angel investors.

Indian Angel networks, powai lake ventures, Mumbai Angels and Let’s venture are some of
the best available platform. The angel investment comes with its issues of high-interest
expectations and lesser investments.
VENTURE CAPITALIST
Venture capitalists take on the risk of financing risky startups in the hopes that some of the
firms they support will become successful in future and they will get multiple times return on
their investment.
Venture capitals are professionally managed funds who invest in companies that have huge
potential. They usually invest in a business against equity and exit when there is an IPO or an
acquisition. Helion Venture Partners, Accel Partners, Blume Ventures are some popular
venture capitalist in India.
Early stage businesses can consider Incubator and Accelerator programs as a funding option
as they are available in almost every major city. Accelerators have some fix terms and they
take equity from 3-12 % and incubators take 5-20% of equity. Amity Innovation Incubator,
AngelPrime, CIIE, IAN Business Incubator, Villgro, Startup Village and Tlabs are some
popular BI and accelerators.
SELF FUNDING
Self-funding is another way when we are just starting our business and having trouble getting
funding without first showing some traction and a plan for potential success.
This will be easy to rise due to less formalities and less costs of rising. In most situations,
family and friends will help us for funding in a low amount of interest.

1.Domain Cost:
Our journey to building our website starts with acquiring domain name for our business /
entity. We may register it from one of the domain registrar like Google, GoDaddy,
HostGator, BlueHost etc.This will cost us from INR 900-1200/year.
2.Hosting Cost:
Next we need a web server to host your website/web application. Website hosting cost you
anywhere from INR 5000 to 10,000/- on shared hosting environment.
If our site becomes popular with business operations and is expected to yield major traffic
or custom applications, we can host our web site on VPS which may cost from INR 40,000
to 100,000 per annum depending on the configuration and server platform.
3.Cost of Design:
The cost of website design is one of the major website cost and it varies from design to
design. Good professional designs may cost you around INR 10,000 to 60,000 with a single
site shared license.
4. Copyright Content:
The cost of website includes the cost of its content. Content engages your customers and
convince your customers on your ideas which finally make business conversions. Be it
Images, documents, write-ups, videos or any other resources, all of these are web content /
resources.
Each new copyright content or update cost you. On an average, you can calculate INR
3000/page for copyright content.
When we want our presence to be felt by our customers on web, we need a critical website
cost and will occur every year anywhere between INR 20,000 to 45,000.
6.Advertisement/promotions:
The social media is now one of the most influencing sources in digital marketing. We can
use Facebook, Instagram and Youtube for promoting our business.
Facebook: On Facebook we can create our page for free. But for getting our posts boosting
we have to pay INR 350 for 945-5.9k likes per day.
Instagram: On Instagram for promoting our posts it would cost around INR 500 per 100
views.
YouTube: YouTube ads have an average cost-per-view of INR10 – 30, and the views that
you generate will count towards your overall YouTube viewer count. The average cost of
reaching 100,000 viewers is around INR 1400.
There are many more resources required for making stunning and engaging website
applications like good logo designing, banner and sliders with CSS transition and
transformation, moving elements like GIF images, info graphics, premium fonts, videos etc.

Our major revenue would be generated on the commission basis. We would be charging INR
300 per booking.
If after booking, the person wants to cancel the plan we would be charging 10% cost of that
sport. Once our website becomes popular we can give the customers a premium membership
plan for zero cancellation fees and discount in booking.
Expected Outcome
It’s a one-step solution which rectifies all the problems that the traveller has to go through
while going to adventure sports, he has to ask various local people to avoid being scammed.
We except that we can collaborate with around 35 sports in a year, we will be giving
information and booking facilities for many different type of adventure sports. On an average
day we can expect booking of 60-70 treks or any other activity, so we can expect at least INR
10,000 profit per day.

Average earning:
This is our expected earnings from the first year, which is giving nearly 30,00,000 profit,
since we invested INR 6,20,000 in the beginning.
In this profit we have not considered the revenue generated from aspects like cancellation
fees and membership fees.

CONCLUSION
With proper management of this project we can make more than INR 30,00,000 per year by
treating this as a passive business. Which means there is no need to spend much time on this
on daily basis, giving us the opportunity for multiple other start up’s or a job. Our only
limitation is our idea is very vulnerable for other companies like Trivago and Booking.com
can take our idea very easily and make their own amendments. The only way to overpower
this limitation is to capture our customer base as soon as possible and our marketing needs to
be very strong.
