1. How is spirituality different from religion? Discuss and site an example.


Religion aims to build one's character. It shape's one's beliefs attitudes, and action by
giving importance to its adherence of rules. This unites people who shares religion as
they share character traits or outlooks on life. On the other hand, spirituality
concentrates more on each person's individual soul. Spirituality has no rules. It
encourages people to focus their energy on positive things and to act solely on the
process of becoming attuned to one's inner self. Many of the behaviors of healthy
spiritual life. Examples include volunteerism, social responsibility optimism,
contributing to society, connectedness with others, belongingness, love of self, reason
to care for self.

2. In what ways can a nurse intervene when a patient suffers from a situational loss,
like for instance paralysis of the left arm and leg on one side of the body due to
stroke? Discuss your answer.
