As we enter the 4th  Industrial  Revolution  (4IR) and
industries evolve due to the impact of the pandemic, the
way  we  work,  play  and  live has been forever changed.
Consequently, there is a greater demand for education
that integrates multiple disciplines to develop
problem-solving and critical thinking skills. 
These newly launched programmes from Taylor's
University future-proof students, enhancing their
employability, as well as producing high-reputation
academics. Ultimately, we aim to ensure that our
graduates are ready to meet and conquer any challenge
and uncertainty they will face.

TECHNOLOGY-INFUSED PROGRAMMES
Along with increased digital transformation around the world, there is a growing call for programmes that infuse
technological components and bridge more than one field. In response to this, interdisciplinary programmes
like Accounting (Fintech), Fashion Design Technology, Robotic Design and Development, and Applied
Computing equip students for tomorrow’s workplace with knowledge about the latest technology.

ENTREPRENEURIALISM
As businesses strive to reinvent themselves in the current economic climate, employers increasingly prefer
graduates with outstanding entrepreneurship qualities – risk-takers with a growth mindset and the ability to
maximise opportunities. Our Team Entrepreneurship, Fashion Design Technology, and Patisserie Arts
degrees, for example, incorporate entrepreneurial modules to train up graduates who are skilled at
strengthening the competitive advantage of a business.

WORK-BASED LEARNING
Innovative work-based learning programmes like the Robotic Design and Development and Social Science
degrees give students exposure to hands-on learning and authentic work experiences. They can enter the
working world with well-rounded abilities and confidence, emerging as critical thinkers and innovative
leaders in their field.

GLOBALISATION & SOCIAL CHANGE

As communities around the world work on discovering solutions to social issues at local and international
levels, programmes such as the Doctor of Philosophy in Food Studies or Social Science degrees empower
