RESOLUTION NO. 1 YEAR 2022

A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ANNUAL BARANGAY YOUTH INVESTMENT PLAN (ABYIP) OF SANGGUNIANG
KABATAAN NG BRGY BANLIC, CALAMBA CITY FOR THE YEAR 2022, IN ACCORDANCE WITH APPLICABLE
BUDGETING, ACCOUNTING AND AUDITING RULES AND REGULATIONS, AND THE PROVISIONS OF THE
GOVERNMENT PROCUREMENT REFORM ACT (RA NO. 9184) AND OTHER PERTINENT LAWS.

WHEREAS, Article 2 Section 12 of the 1987 Philippine Constitution states that “the State recognizes the vital role of the
youth in nation-building and shall promote and protect their physical, moral, spiritual, intellectual and social, well-
being. It shall inculcate in the youth, patriotism and nationalism and encourage their involvement in public and
civic affairs”;

WHEREAS, Implementing Rules and Regulations of Republic Act 10742 also known as the Sangguniang Kabataan
Reform Act of 2015 provides in Chapter II Section 8 paragraph (a) states that “In consultation and with the
concurrence of the Katipunan ng Kabataan, and within three (3) months from the assumption of office, formulate
a three (3)-year rolling plan, which shall be known as the Comprehensive Barangay Youth Development Plan,
which shall serve as basis in preparation of the Annual Barangay Youth Investment Program and Annual Budget;

WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Kabataan with the concurrence of the Katipunan ng Kabataan of Barangay Banlic
drafted and approved a Comprehensive Barangay Youth Development Plan for 2020-2022;

WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Banlic has prepared the 2022 Annual Budget in accordance
with the approved Comprehensive Barangay Youth Investment Plan;

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, AS IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN OF BARANGAY BANLIC
to approved its 2022 Annual Budget.

Adopted this 16th day of January 16 at Barangay Banlic, Calamba City Province of Laguna

NOW THEREFORE, be it adopted by this Body that:

Section 1. The annual budget of this Annual Budget for calendar year 2022 is hereby approved as follows;

Ten percent (10%) of the General Fund of the Barangay ₱2,341,643.40

TOTAL FUNDS AVAILABLE FOR APPROPRIATIONS ₱2,341,643.40

RESOLVED FURTHER, to forward copies of this Resolution approving the Annual Budget for Calendar Year 2022 to
