We, the student-researchers from the College of Business Entrepreneurship and

Accountancy of Cagayan State University – Aparri Campus would like to ask permission
to conduct a survey among micro and small enterprise owners within your municipality.
This is in view of our research, entitled, “The Impact of COVID-19 on Micro and Small
Enterprises: Challenges and Opportunities.”

In connection to this, may we respectfully request from your good office to allow us to:

a. Look for records of Micro and Small Enterprises operating within

your municipality which shall be useful in this study. According to
Rule III, Section 4 of Republic Act 9501, also known as the amended
"Magna Carta for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises",
Microenterprises are those with total value of not more than
P3,000,000.00 and Small Enterprises with a total value of P3,000,001 –
P15,000,000.00, both after excluding the identified land.
b. Be assisted by the market supervisor in conducting the survey
within the Camalaniugan Public Market.
