DESCRIPTION
The Magnetic level gauge, type: MLG is simply
constructed and resistant to adverse condition of
temperature and pressure.
Since there are no glasses or mica sheets as used
In the conventional level gauges which might crack
or break is some of the reasons why many industrial
users favors this designs. Material in SS 304, SS316,
CPVC, PP, PVDF or PTFE for most applications in
Industries such as:
* Chemical, Petrochemical, Oil & Gas and other process
* Refrigeration, Retorts and Heat Treatment
* Boilers, Evaporators, Condensers & Storage Tank
* Marine and almost all sector industries.

OPERATION PRINCIPLE
A vertical measuring chamber (1) is connected to the liquid vessel at each end (Side to Side,
Top to Side, Side to Bottom & Top to Bottom) contains a Float (2) with a built-in permanent
magnet (3) inside that rises and falls with the liquid level. The chamber is completely sealed
so that the only moving part that contacts the liquid is the FLOAT itself.
On the “Dry Side” of the chamber, a Magnetic strip Indicator (4), a
column of bi-color magnetic tabs (5) that form a vertical strip to
provide a visual indication of the fluid level attached.
As the float moves up or down, the permanent magnet mounted in its
top section of float “pulls” the tabs through a rotation of 180 Deg,
thus changing their color.
As the float rises the tabs are turned from white to red and as the
float falls, they changed back to white again.
This means that the liquid level inside the vessel is constantly
represented by a Red strips without use any external power supply.

MAGNETIC SWITCH
Magnetic Switch MS-1 is a Magnetic Switch that mounted at the side of the MLG ,Magnetic Level
Gauge. The Magnetic switch MS-1 that together with MLG Level Gauge can be used for control
pumps in Emptying or Filling process as well as monitoring of High and Low Level Alarms.
The MS-1 switch mounted at the rail of MLG magnetic Level Gauge and can be adjust at any
position by easy sliding.
Magnetic Switch, MS-1 also available in Explotion proof housing.

LEVEL SENSOR & TRANSMITTER

LTS-MLG is a reed type level sensor clamped on the MLG Level Gauge which serves to provide
a continous electrical signal of level for remote display.
The signal is Resistance output and can be equipped the 5343B or 5335A transmitter to produce
two wire 4-20 Ma signal output.
