PRE-INSTALLATION

1 Ensure all material (pipes,fittings & accessories) are as per approved TDS

2 Check for the clearance from civil and other agencies

3 Check the availability of latest revision of GFC & shop drawings

4 Check for PTW before start of activity

PROCESS-INSTALLATION

5 Location, Levels, Pipe size are as per approved shop drawings

6 Ensure approved Pipe & fittings of correct size to be used

7 Check Routing of the pipe are as per approved drawing

8 Ensure pipe ends are cut straight and free from burrs

All joint surface should be free from dust, dirt, cement, oil, grease and other
foreign materials.

10 For horizontal upvc pipe, joint to be made proper using solvent cement.

11 For Vertical upvc piping, joint to be made by ‘O’ rubber ring joint

Check Hanger & Support (Split clamp, clevis hanger, clamp, threaded rod etc.,)

with proper spacing are provided as per approved drawing.

POST-INSTALLATION

13 All nut & bolts of supports are properly tightened properly

14 Ensure slope of pipes shall be maintained as per drawing

15 Chech for proper alignment of pipes of horizontal & vertical piping

Conclusion: Work done is satisfactory and conforms to the requirements. YES / NO
Area is clear for further activity. YES / NO
