Indian Film Project | Cinefilia

DATE – 24/09/21
The Indian Film project is a 50-
hour film making competition.
Cinefilia prepared a short film on
“How Money Makes you Feel”
with the Genre being “Drama”.
Scripts of various storylines were
compiled and finalized. Scripting,
editing, and uploading were
scheduled during nights, and the
shooting part during the day.

The film was to be written, shot, edited

& uploaded during the 50-hour time
slot. Students divided themselves
among different shifts. One group of
students scouted various locations for
the shoot while the other finalized the
cast. The main aim of the film was to
show the journey of money. A contrast
was drawn between a rich businessman
and a poor beggar.

This was the first offline film
project after many months due to
the pandemic. The shooting took
place in various locations inside
and around the college. Students
were introduced to high level
filming gear for the first time and
were exposed to professional
working environments. The film
was produced within the given
time and was an overall success.

prepared to spread the social
message of mental health
performed by the club. A team of
28 students from Cinefilia
participated in the unveiling event.
The event lasted for fifteen
minutes. Dupattas were used as
versatile props for various scenes.

The main objective of this play was to

educate peers on the ever-worsening
condition of mental health of students
which leads them into social evils. The
play consists of four scenes depicting
the various stages of mental trauma.
With the final scene being a formation
of good and evil on either side
enforcing their view points on the main
character.

‘Pukaar’ had a strong moral after
every scene. This was the first
street play performed by Cinefilia
after almost two years due to the
pandemic. The audience was filled
with immense joy after witnessing
an offline event of such a big scale.
The evening was concluded with
