Unveiling of The Big Five | Cinefilia

A street play ‘Pukaar’ was
prepared to spread the social
message of mental health
performed by the club. A team of
28 students from Cinefilia
participated in the unveiling event.
The event lasted for fifteen
minutes. Dupattas were used as
versatile props for various scenes.
 

The main objective of this play was to

educate peers on the ever-worsening
condition of mental health of students
which leads them into social evils. The
play consists of four scenes depicting
the various stages of mental trauma.
With the final scene being a formation
of good and evil on either side
enforcing their view points on the main
character.

 
‘Pukaar’ had a strong moral after
every scene. This was the first
street play performed by Cinefilia
after almost two years due to the
pandemic. The audience was filled
with immense joy after witnessing
an offline event of such a big scale.
The evening was concluded with
performances by Aperture, The
Music Club, Litmus, and
Coreografia.
