Thesis Statement; History is an inclusive tool in the journey of nation building.

History is proven for the extension of unity and development in the country . It is also a source of
rich Philippine culture that raise the country towards prosperity. Through history, people learned
their identity which strengthen the relation of filipino towards a goal of establishing one nation.
Therefore, history is an inclusive tool in the journey of nation building.
In building a nation , first to consider is to unite the people. Learning of history is somehow a
medicine to achieve this aim. We better understand the past and the lessons learned from it is
essential for the formation of cohesive society. It also build camaraderie among various ethnic
groups. Through history, we learned the mistakes from the past that makes filipino realized about
the importance of unity, in order to achieve this matter is we may prior to be collected through
appreciating integration among races. That is why history has great contribution in attaining
unity and integrity among people because it pushes them into a solid nation.
Another one is because of history we learned our identity as filipino. We deeply understand the
roots of our culture and origin, and how was it modified over a period of time . Through history ,
young generation is closely aware about the Philippine history and it promotes their patriotism .
Thus, all filipino must appreciate their identity and origin. Dr. Jose Rizal states ,” Ang taong
hindi marunong lumingon sa kaniyang pinanggalingan ay hindi makakarating sa kaniyang
paroroonan”. Rizal realized the importance of the past as a tool to understand the present and
eventually face the future.
History teaches more life lessons specially the quality of our bravest heroes whoever fought for
the independence of our nation. This serves as inspiration to the filipino to defend our country
from any future obstacles. This is our duty to protect and preserve our homeland.
In summary, history is an inclusive tool in the journey of nation building. It is important aspect
in the absolute foundation of a nation. Our identity and rich culture was usually learned from
history. History is a tool that changes the interest of people into more collected society. The
lessons that learned from it is a guide towards flourishing the present.
