My grandmother is 62 years old but I can say that she is still strong and can be independent.

She is the one that goes to the public market and buy ingredients for our meal that at the same time,

she cooks. Her house has 2 floors and she can easily climb the stairs. She cleans their house by

sweeping and mopping every morning. She does other chores like washing the dishes and

organizing the clothes. One thing that I worry about her is that she is getting old and she must not

be given these much of workloads. She always complains about her joint pain on her ankle and her

Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD) that causes her persistent dry cough. She is diabetic but I

have nothing to worry about because she knows how to control and manage her blood sugar by

exercising and eating healthy foods.
