My Vlog Script
Hello Everyone, I’m Lindsay B. Ruizo and today’s video I’m going to show you how to pack
waste free lunches with less than non-biodegradable items.
So the main goal is to eliminate a many single use items and plastics as much as possible.
The first thing you need is a reusable lunch pack or bag. There’s a variety of sizes and patterns
and colors to suits one needs and reflects their personality. Next, you will need reusable food
storage items such as durable container like this. In here, you will put your healthy diet lunch such
as fresh fruits. Always remember, peels from fruit should be dispose properly in biodegradable bin.
You can also bring the peel at home and allow your mom or yourself to have potent organic
fertilizer through the composting bin. You must also include in your lunch pack a healthy diet
vegetables and foods such as slice of lean meat, hardboiled egg, peanuts, dairy food like cheese
or milk. Do not pack food that are wrap with single use plastics. If necessary, dispose them
properly in the plastic bin. Because plastics is such a persistent material, the ecological, economic
and ecotoxicological effects of plastic pollution are all long term. Non-biodegradable items are
estimated to kill millions of marine animals and sea birds each year but it’s also contaminating sea
foods that humans have relied on for millennia.
Then also, water bottle of course for the drink. Pack a refillable, reusable beverage
container. If a straw is needed, use one that is reusable and can be clean after its use like this
straw. We also want to pack reusable utensils made of bamboo, and/or stainless steels. Finally, we
can this all in the lunch bag.
