For:
• Economic advantage is one of the benefits of tourism management. It's profitable. This is most
likely the primary benefit of tourism and the reason it has received so much attention,
particularly in the development of Baguio City. The income generated has the potential to
account for a sizable portion of local income.
• It helps to preserve Baguio City's culture. Tourism has aided in the preservation and
transmission of cultural and historical traditions, which frequently contributes to the conservation
and sustainable management of natural resources, the preservation of local heritage, and the
renaissance of indigenous cultures, cultural arts, and crafts.

Against:
• Baguio residents are stressed out due to traffic. It is not so much concerned with the cultural
aspects of Baguio as it is with the society. The primary mode of transportation to Baguio is by
car, and because there are hundreds of people with cars traveling to Baguio, traffic and
congestion occur, causing inconvenience for everyone.
