I. INTRODUTION:
The human resources system for Vinamilk is designed in the following report. The paper will explain the
objective of Human Resources and the major HR roles in the business, as well as offer an overview of the
various HR operations. The Vietnam Dairy Products Joint Stock Company manufactures fresh milk,
powdered milk, condensed milk, yogurt, and healthy water under the brand name Vinamilk. The Southern
Coffee-Dairy Company was founded on August 20, 1976, to nationalize and take over the operations of
three previously private dairy factories in South Vietnam: Thong Nhat (belonging to a Chinese company),
Truong Tho (formerly owned by Friesland Foods, best known for its production of condensed milk that was
widely distributed throughout the South), and Dielac. In 1978, it was renamed United Enterprises of Milk,
Coffee, Cookies, and Candies. It was renamed the Vietnam Dairy Company and incorporated in 1993. Their
vision is to develop a world-class brand in the food and beverage sector, where consumers have complete
faith in nutrition and health goods. The mission is to provide important nourishment to the community
while maintaining respect, love, and responsibility. (Vinamilk, 2021)

II. CONTENT:
1. Recruitment and selection analysis:
Definition

This is the most difficult duty for any HR manager. It takes a lot of effort and resources to attract, hire,
and retain prospective workers. Creating a job description, advertising the job posting, finding
prospective individuals, interviewing, pay negotiations, and making the job offer are all part of the
recruiting process. (Kapur, 2020)

The importance of recruitment and selection

The procedures of recruiting and selection are viewed as critical to the organization's effective growth
and evolution. It is critical to ensure that the correct people are picked in the right positions at the
right time in order to accomplish various sorts of organizational tasks and activities in an acceptable
manner. Furthermore, candidates must have the necessary knowledge, competences, and abilities.
There are a number of elements that must be considered when carrying out these duties. Educational
credentials, skills, aptitude, personality qualities, experience, work needs, and so on are examples of
these. Before being chosen, candidates must go through many rounds of interviews and, in certain
circumstances, may be asked to participate in additional techniques such as written examinations,
group discussions, and so on. When applicants are chosen, one of the most essential aspects to
examine is their ability to carry out their work tasks in line with their employers' expectations. The key
areas considered in this research study are the features of recruitment and selection, the recruitment
and selection process, the sources of recruitment, and the principles of recruitment and selection.

Political

Vietnam has been building a long-term and stable relationship system with comprehensive partners,
thereby supporting Vietnamese businesses, in which Vinamilk has attracted foreign employees. In
particular, Vietnam has a comprehensive partnership with the Netherlands - a very developed country
in the dairy industry (Van, 2021). Thence, Vinamilk has the opportunity to access human resources
with higher expertise as well as send employees abroad to hone their skills.

Legal

Vinamilk's recruitment process must comply with the provisions of the law on recruitment. The human
resources department of Vinamilk must always firmly grasp the basic rules of the recruitment law to be
able to recruit and provide benefits to employees. In fact, in recent years, corporate law has become
significantly simpler. For example, the 2019 Labor Code recognizes the employer's right to hire as
follows: Employers have the right to directly or through employment service organizations or
enterprises to outsource labor to recruit laborers (Duong, 2021). This law makes it unnecessary for
Vinamilk to create recruitment sessions when it is necessary to recruit a small number of workers,
which costs the business, but instead, Vinamilk is just in contact with the Head companies.

2. Define goals
Vinamilk is the leader in the dairy industry in Vietnam and is expanding internationally, but we always
have ambitions for further growth. Currently Vinamilk is opening some more branches and recruiting
some more sales agents, so we are looking for 3 positions for Distributor Supervisor positions in HCM
and Northern Vietnam. This additional recruitment is aimed at ensuring sales, productivity and work
progress of new agents and branches, creating more jobs for employees and at the same time bringing
business efficiency to Vinamilk.

3. Forecast future hiring needs:


Estimate the number of employees to hire

Vinamilk in recent years has always been voted as the place with the best working environment, maintaining
stable growth momentum. That explains why the rate of employees leaving at Vinamilk is very low, accounting
for 4.9% of the total number of employees (9361), equivalent to 459 people. The proportion of management
level employees accounts for 7% of the total number of employees in the company, equivalent to 656 people.,
in which, the percentage of management level employees who are promoted annually accounted for 8.3%,
equivalent to 55 people. remember Citation). From the above data, it shows that every year Vinamilk needs to
recruit 514 people to fill the vacant positions in the company. That means, the minimum recruitment rate for
the company to operate stably every year is 5.5%.
Comparison

Actual annual recruitment rate at Vinamilk is 7% (remember Citation), while the minimum recruitment rate for
stable operation of the company is 5.5%. Thus, the actual recruitment rate is at least 1.5% higher than the
recruitment rate. It shows that, although in 2020, the Covid epidemic has affected the entire economy,
Vinamilk still makes efforts to maintain production activities, without any personnel reduction policy. In
addition, the actual recruitment rate is higher than the minimum recruitment rate, showing that the company
is still on the way to developing and expanding production scale.

4. Type of candidates Vinamilk wants to attract:


A suitable candidate for the position of distribution monitoring at Vinamilk needs to meet the following
conditions. Firstly, the candidate needs to meet the professional knowledge of managing, operating and
checking the activities of the staff, basic financial analysis and knowledge of distribution
channels/industries. Secondly, candidates also need to have necessary skills such as negotiation skills,
communication with customers and employees. In addition, Vinamilk also wants to have who are
enthusiastic, willful and able to work under pressure. Finally, Vinamilk requires candidates to have at least
02 years of working experience in a similar position in the field of sales in the FMCG industry at
multinational companies/large-scale companies.
The reasons that Vinamilk requires for recruitment candidates will be explained below. Firstly, Vinamilk
requires candidates to have at least 2 years of working experience in a similar position in the field of sales
of FMCG in multinational companies/large-scale companies. According to Forbes Vietnam (2020), Vinamilk
was honored in the ranking of 50 best listed companies in 2020. Besides, according to Vietnam Report
(2018), Vinamilk was announced Top 10 prestigious food companies – beverage 2018. Therefore, in order
to meet the requirements of a national company, candidates need to have rich and experienced
experience. Secondly, Vinamilk is a big brand in Vietnam, so the company has many different distribution
channels spread across the country. Therefore, the position of distributor supervisor requires the
candidate to have knowledge of distribution channels. In addition, the job requires candidates to have a
variety of skills such as negotiation and communication skills. Because this position requires contact with
a lot of distributors as well as the staff under supervision. Therefore, those skills will help the job be done
more smoothly. Finally, enthusiasm is also a factor in the recruitment requirements of the whole company.
Because Vinamilk is a large company, the workload is very high, so the employees need to be under great
pressure and keep their enthusiasm to bring about the best working performance.

Vinamilk recruitment and selection processes are twins consists of various steps and quite time consuming
in order to ensure that new comers has enough potentals to keep up with organizational operations in
future . In such a large corporation like Vinamilk , the both recruitment and selection process would be
tougher to filt an ideal candidates strictly .

cover letter etc… then able to come next with selection process to demonstrate that candidates could fulfill

III. CONCLUSION:
In this report, Vinamilk is a large-scale worldwide company with a competent workforce. However, in order
to compete with the market's major players, the firm must have recruiting and training programs in place.
To have a more professional team, the firm should adopt the early training package. Vinamilk needs to
find good distributor supervisor position , quality online training packages to help employees have the
necessary skills. Employees will then assist the firm in increasing profitability, productivity, and
competitiveness with other companies across the world.
