Achievement
Done COVID vaccination camp in my Village with
help of Medical camp and motivated more than 80
people to get vaccinated.
Helping Old age people to get their Old Age
pension from respective department with help of
Daslidhar.
Due to heavy rain, the road got damaged due to
which bus services were stopped from last 3
months, So I notified to the respective department
and have been following up with them to get the
work done.
Helping Widows to get their widow pension and
motivating them for suitable job to survive day to
day life.
Helping the village people to get their aadhar card,
ration card and medical cards for them.
Helping children to write their names and to study
basic things.

Nutrition week
Food and nutrition are mandatory for
overall physical and mental health and
ever since the pandemic has wreaked
havoc, awareness about healthy food
and nutrition has started to spread in
every nook and corner.

National Nutrition Week is observed every year from September 1 to


September 7 to raise public awareness about nutrition and healthy
eating habits. The week is observed to make people understand the
importance of nutritional and adaptive eating habits so that they can
maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Celebrating Nutrition week there were informative mailer released which


comprised of Nutrition tips for a healthy living, facilitating the mailers there was a
session conducted on nutrition which was to enable the practice of healthy living in
employees.

Sudoku Day Challenge


International Sudoku Day takes place on 9th
September. The goal of the Sudoku game is to fill a
9×9 grid so that each column, row, and 3×3
sub-grid contains all the digits from 1 to 9.

Celebrating the day, all the Sudoku enthusiasts were invited to solve Sudoku and
show their bit of logical thinking and gear up their brain to the world of Sudoku,
there were in total 3 slots which were given to all the HCLites to show their love
for puzzle solving where they were asked to post their answers as well on the
social media platform with the hashtags #SudokuDayChallenge

R U OK Day
Mental health as mental well-being
means a state where an individual
realizes his or her own abilities to
cope with the normal stresses of life,
and to work productively and can
contribute to his or her community.
In precise term, mental health is the
foundation for individual well-being
and the effective functioning of a
community.

R U OK? is an Australian non-profit organization, founded by advertiser Gavin


Larkin in 2009. It revolves around the slogan "R U OK?", and advocates for
people to have conversations with others.

The Australian non-profit organization has a dedicated R U OK? Day, to be held


annually on the second Thursday of September, which encourages Australians to
connect with people who have emotional insecurity, to address social isolation
and promote community cohesiveness.

Celebrating R U OK Day there was a session conducted on mental well-being


which helped HCLites to connect to their mental state further enabling a healthy
state of mind carried with a social media campaign where HCLites were invited to
post a picture with a positive message.

The human desire to travel and
explore is universal but the Covid-19
pandemic not only crippled both
developed and developing
economies but also stopped all of us
from travelling and making
memories. World Tourism Day is
held on 27 September each year
since 1980.

Though the pandemic has put restrictions on exploring the world but couldn’t stop
us to celebrate and connect with our last memories and hence celebrating the
World Tourism Day HCLites were invited to post the pictures of their last travel

HCL Sri Lanka 1st Year Virtual


Anniversary Celebration
HCLites celebrated their 1st year anniversary
where 1000+ Ideapreneurs have joined on the
eve of celebration. Our CEO CVK and
Corporate VP Srimathi also enlightened the
event virtually and addressed all Sri Lanka
employees.

Many HCLites and their family members also shared their experiences and
connection with the organization. HCLites further entertained and engaged
the audience through their singing and dancing skills.
